About us
Bethlehem Baptist Church is a Fellowship of Baptized Believers which embraces the Historic Baptist Faith. Our Biblical preaching can be defined as Reformed Baptist Theology in the context of this Historical Baptist Faith. Also, the preaching can be described as verse by verse, exegetical, and expository preaching with contemporary applications.
We invite you to join us in worshiping and serving the Lord. We believe that every person who becomes a part of this fellowship is sent to us by God. Above all else, we want to express Christ’s love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth. We’re eager to know and excited to share with you the marvelous ways God is working in our church. We worship, we learn, we serve, we fellowship, and we reach out to people in our community and world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our doors and hearts are open to receive all whom the Lord will lead to Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Though the Pulpit Ministry is our primary program for Christian Growth and Discipleship, in addition to this pulpit ministry, we have Bible Study classes from birth through Senior Citizens on Sunday mornings.
Also, we have a commitment to Missions through mission projects and mission organizations. A women’s mission group, that we call the WMU, meets once a month. Our Awana Program is designed for 3 yr. olds through 6th Grade that we enhance with mission studies and projects. Annually our pastor preaches in an African country through African Pastors’ Conferences. In addition, we support an Orphanage in Kabanana, Zambia, missionaries directly in 4 countries and on 3 continents, and worldwide missions through cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention Mission Boards.
One can become a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church through a public profession of personal faith in Jesus Christ followed by Biblical baptism, a request for a Letter of Recommendation from a Baptist Church of similar faith and practice, and a person’s statement of previous scriptural conversion and baptism.
